Green Mountain Avalanche Hockey


Welcome to Green Mountain Avalanche, one of the premiere competitive youth hockey organizations in the Champlain Valley area of Vermont. Our goal is to promote competitive youth hockey at the highest level possible while providing a fun filled learning environment.

Our Programs

Spring Hockey League 2010 Dates: March 23 - April 30 Brochure and Registration Form

  This league gives players a chance to play alongside some of
  people they've been competing against during the previous
  season.  Learning from competitors is a proven way of increasing
  one's own skills.

Spring Adult Hockey League 2010 Dates: March 23 - April 30 Brochure and Registration Form

  New in 2010!  The Avalanche Spring Adult Hockey
  League!  With most games being played between 6:00
  and 9:30 you'll finally be able to play organized hockey
  at a reasonable hour.  We're aiming for 3 men's divisions
  and one women's division.

  This AAA tournament will be held at Cairns Arena in South Burlington

Summer Hockey League June 23 - July 24, 2009

  Hockey skills like any other skills fade when not in use.
  The Summer Hockey League allows players to keep their skills
  sharp and gives them an environment where they can gain new
  skills.

Fall Warm-up and Hockey League August 22 - September 18, 2008

  This program is designed to get players in shape to
  perform their best during the upcoming tryouts for their
  respective season.

High School Pre-Season Clinic November 2 - November 13, 2009 Brochure & Registration

  This program is designed to get high school students
  ready for the upcoming tryouts and to allow them a chance
  to assess the skills of those they'll be competing against
  for that desired spot on the high school team.
